How to Activate Wheelchair Mode

On the iPhone used to pair the Apple Watch, open the Watch app and tap Health. Then select Health Details » Edit » Wheelchair. Check “Yes” and then “OK” to confirm the change.

What changes?

The Apple Watch comes with purpose-built fitness sensors and algorithms that can help track activities more accurately, as well as make the iPhone count impulses instead of steps and record different types of impulses, speeds and terrain. The “Stand Up” circle is also changed to “Spin”.

Two new workouts are also added to the Workout app: “Push Outdoors (Normal)” e “Push Outdoors (Accelerated)”.

Apple claims that both measure time, pace, distance, calories and heart rate. If you want to measure time, calories and heart rate during exercises such as paracycling and wheelchair basketball, it is suggested that you choose the “Other” option in the app.

Interesting, isn’t it?!
