How to Use Any App on Galaxy Z Flip 5 External Display
To allow all apps to run on the external display, you can use the official Samsung app. You may already be familiar with the tool that we will be using in this guide, as it is available for all Samsung phones and supported in many regions.
Good Lock is a powerful tool that supports many modules. And by using these modules, users can get advanced features which are not available on Samsung phones by default. We will use Good Lock to access all apps directly from the external display.

To run any app on the external screen of your Galaxy Z Flip 5, you must first install the Good Lock app.
Step 1 : Open Galaxy Store on your Galaxy Z Flip 5.
2nd step : Now search for Good Lock and open it from the results.
Step 3: Push the button Installer to install Good Lock on your Galaxy Z Flip 5.
That’s it, installing Good Lock is as easy as installing any other app. In case Good Lock is not showing up in the Galaxy Store, try to download its apk from a trusted source and then install it. There are also a few alternatives you can try if Good Lock isn’t available in your area.
Install the Multistar module
Good Lock is a platform for different modules. Some popular modules are NotiStar, LockStar, MultiStar, NiceShot, and many others. To add more apps to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, you need MultiStar. Here’s how to download it.
Step 1 : Open the app Good Lock on your phone.
2nd step : Skip to menu Life Up. Scroll down and search MultiStar.
Step 3: Now press the icon of download next to MultiStar.
Step 4: This will take you to the Galaxy Store. Press the Install button to get MultiStar on your phone.
Add apps to the external screen launcher
After installing Good Lock and MultiStar, you can choose which apps you want to access from the external screen. Here’s how to add apps.
Step 1 : Open the app Good Lock on your phone.
2nd step : Go to menu Life Up and press the option MultiStar.
Step 3: Open section I Love Galaxy Foldable.
Step 4: Now open the widget Launcher from the Widgets section of the cover.
Step 5: Select all the apps you want to access from the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s external display. Once done, you can close MultiStar.
Activate the launcher widget on your Galaxy Z Flip 5
Now all you have to do is enable the launcher widget if it isn’t already. You can also rearrange the widget to see the launcher on the front page of the external screen.
Step 1 : Open them Settings on your Galaxy Z Flip 5.
2nd step : Scroll down and select cover screenThen Widgets.
Step 3: In Widgets, make sure to enable the Launcher.
Step 4: Tap the option Reorganize top right.
Step 5: Drag the Launcher option to the top. You can now close the settings.
So ! You can now access all your chosen apps directly from the external display of your Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Close your phone and you will find the launcher widget with all the apps you have selected in MultiStar. Yes, you can use all apps directly on your external display. Some apps may not be usable on a smaller screen, but still work on the external screen.
