For those who need to create slideshows and are already within the Apple ecosystem, the best software for that is Keynotecreated by the company itself.

To make them look even more different, you can add transitions to your slides. And that’s exactly what we’re going to show you how to do.

Here we go?! ????‍????

How to Add a Transition to a Keynote Presentation on iPhone/iPad

Open the desired presentation and, in the slide navigator, tap the one you want to add the transition to (in this case, it will be added to its next slide). Tap on it once more and select “Transition” (you have to tap the little arrow a few times for it to appear).

Select “Add Transition” at the bottom of the screen and choose one of them from the list that will appear below. To preview it before choosing, go to “View” in the upper left corner. When satisfied with the choice, tap “OK”.

Once that’s done, select the transition at the bottom of the screen to check out the extra adjustments that can be made. Among them, the duration, direction of the effect, etc. Tap “OK” in the top left corner to save everything.

How to Add a Transition to a Keynote Presentation on Mac or the Web

With the presentation open, click on the desired slide (in the slide navigator). Then, at the top right, select “Animate” and “Add an Effect” to choose the one you want to use.

Once this is done, make the desired adjustments (which vary according to the chosen one). To add the effect to multiple slides, select them, click “Add an Effect” (in the sidebar) and choose the desired one.

In addition to standard transitions, you can also use Magic Motion transitions, which animate objects in your presentation. But that is a subject for a future article! ????
