Because today, we’re going to show you how you can activate an option that will send a verification code, in order to ensure you are getting into the right car. That way, the app will send you a code for every trip you make; in addition, it must be shared with the driver for the journey to begin.

On your iPhone/iPad, open Uber and tap the “Account” tab in the bottom right corner. Then go to Settings » Check your trip. Activate the option “Use the code to confirm trips” and confirm below if you want to activate only for night trips (taken between 21:00 and 06:00). When finished, tap “Done”.
