Nicole Wesner, a native of Germany, only discovered boxing when she was 32. She enjoyed great success, becoming world champion several times and also Austrian national champion. In addition to her work as a trainer (for fitness, yoga and boxing) and boxing commentator on television, the Viennese-by-choice is also a lecturer. On August 7, she will speak at the invitation of the Upper Austrian News Business Academy at the Metzenhof Golf Club in Kronstorf. The topic will be business: Before her career in sport, Wesner worked in various management positions in marketing and sales in a pharmaceutical company in several countries.
Success begins in the mind
In her talk, she will address the question of how to deal with setbacks and achieve seemingly impossible goals. Wesner will show listeners how the principles of success in competitive sports can be translated into the world of business. According to the former professional athlete, success begins in the mind: motivation, courage and passion for new paths and mental aspects of winning are part of her talk.
Admission to the Metzenhof Golf Club is at 5.30 p.m. After Nicole Wesner’s lecture there will be an opportunity for discussion over food and drink.
