Before the start of the sequel to The Magnificent Century, few people even knew regarding the existence of Anastasia Tsilimpou. Greek by birth, she was born on November 12, 1997. From an early age, she was drawn to creativity. Parents were only too happy to support Anastasia, and therefore, already in childhood, the angelic baby began to master the stage.
In her native Greece, Tsilimpou quickly became famous. The girl was not only invited to play in the theater and cinema, but was also invited to appear in commercials. But the real glory of Anastasia brought, of course, the role of her namesake in the Empire of Kesem.
Yes, initially the favorite concubine of Sultan Ahmed I was called Nastya, and in the series the creators tried to reflect this fact. Perhaps Tsilimpou seemed to them an excellent candidate also because she was also born in Greece (the serial Kesem was born in Kefalonia). Participation in the work on the sequel to The Magnificent Century was a real success for Anastasia. She received up to 30 thousand lire for shooting in each episode. For Turkish actresses, such an amount would be ridiculous, but the natives of Greece, this money seemed like real wealth. No joke, in a short time Tsilimpou has become one of the most famous and expensive artists in Greece.
It seemed that in this situation, Anastasia should have cherished her role in the Kesem Empire. However, she only lasted six episodes in the project. So decided the creators of the drama, who were ready to grab their heads because of the low ratings of the sequel to the “Magnificent Century”. They saw the solution to the problem in changing the lead actress. In place of Qilimpou well-known in Turkey actress Beren Saat came.
After leaving the Kesem Empire, Anastasia once more seemed to have gone into the shadows. In 2016, she starred in the film Tears of God. In addition, the Greek star has not abandoned her modeling career – her Instagram profile * is full of professional shots. As for Qilimpou’s personal life, not much is known regarding her.
At one time, there were rumors that Anastasia got along with Ekin Koch, who played Ahmed in Kesem Empire. However, neither she nor he confirmed this information. But in personal social networks, Tsilimpou published romantic pictures with a successful entrepreneur Alexandros Ivos.
