It has been more than fifteen years since Sarah Jessica Parker walk the red carpet with Gala. On May 2, the new ceremony will celebrate the second installment of the Costume Institute’s two-part exhibition, which began last year: In America: An Anthology of Fashion.

Feathers, lace, bows, ruffles… The New York of the golden age which had excess as its watchword.
