It has been more than fifteen years since Sarah Jessica Parker walk the red carpet with Gala. This high mass of fashion which each year welcomes stars and young designers for an evening for the benefit of the New York museum. On May 2, the new ceremony will celebrate the second installment of the Costume Institute’s two-part exhibition, which began last year: In America: An Anthology of Fashion.

For this edition, the stars, including the actress of Sex and the Citymust follow the dress code Gilded Age, or golden glamour. Feathers, lace, bows, ruffles… The New York of the golden age which had excess as its watchword.
