He Ministry of Economyannounced the creation of the Buy Program without VAT which implies the refund of VAT of 21% of the total Basic Basket for 9 million workers who earn salaries of up to $708,000.
In this way, each worker, each retiree will have throughout the month, or in a single day, or in the different purchases they makea return within 48 hours following making the purchase with the Debit for up to 18,800 pesos during the month.
The program will enter into force from the next Monday y until the end of the year through a resolution of the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP). But following this period a bill will be sent to Congress so that the norm continues during next year.
How Buy without VAT works
– There will be no need to do any paperwork, the benefit is automaticall shops, supermarkets and mini-markets, greengrocers, butchers, fruit shops, as well as personal hygiene products and household baskets, are automatically enabled.
