How many Pakistanis use social media? Report continues

Gallup survey released a report about how many percent of people in Pakistan have social media accounts.

According to a Gallup survey report, 60 percent of Pakistanis do not use other social networking apps including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. The survey was conducted from June 28 to July 10, in which more than 700 people were asked.

The survey further revealed that 40 percent of Pakistanis use Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other apps extensively. 62% of young people under the age of 30 are more active on these social networks, while only 30% of Pakistanis above the age of 30 are active. Pakistani men are ahead of women in social media usage.

The report also revealed the interesting fact that men have a higher rate of social media accounts than women, while the majority of young people born after 1994 use social media.

The highest rate is 62 percent of people under the age of 30 who have accounts on social media. Only 30% of people aged 30 to 50 and above use Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram.
