Similar to beans, an unopened package of ground coffee should stay fresh until the manufacturer’s expiration date.
Opened packages should be kept in an opaque, airtight container at room temperature, away from heat, light and moisture. When stored this way, coffee usually stays fresh for 1-2 weeks.
Instant coffee has a longer shelf life. Some say it can last 2-20 years when stored properly. That is, in a sealed package or airtight container in a cool, dry and dark place. Opened packages are also believed to last up to several years.

Store the capsules in a container or drawer away from heat and light. Since they are individually sealed, it is not as important to keep them in an airtight or well-sealed container.
