In this regard, the president of the Association of Airlines in Venezuela (ALAV), Marisela de Loaiza, explained that 46 weekly flights to Panama and 25 weekly flights to the Dominican Republic are affected after the decision.
He indicated that the Venezuelan Government feels that “The sovereignty of the country was attacked after the statements of the presidents of those countries“.
Marisela de Loaiza said she hopes this is “a temporary measure” because otherwise they are “harming” connectivity.
