What to do when your iPhone falls in water?
If you accidentally drop your iPhone in water, it is important toact quickly and efficiently to minimize damage. First of all, turn it off immediately. If turned on when wet, the water may damage the phone’s internal components. Secondly, get rid of any case or screen protector that might be on the phone. These can trap water once morest the phone and cause even more damage. Remove the SIM card and all other removable parts.
Once you have turned off the phone and remove all accessories, gently wipe off any water that is on the outside of the phone, inside by the speakers or charging port. Next, dry the unit completely using a soft cloth or compressed air if necessary.
