Kate Middleton and Prince William are going through a very difficult time in their lives due to the diagnosis of the Princess of Wales with cancer.
Both Kate Middleton and Prince William have changed their daily lives a lot, but their priority always remains their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
Speaking to Hello, royal author Robert Jobson, whose book ‘Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Biography of the Future Queen’ will be published on July 4, 2024, said the health problem and their shared struggle has brought them closer and they will come out stronger from it.
“The ups and downs they have faced together have cemented their bond which is now unshakable,” he added.
“There is no doubt that William is Kate’s rock. It is the constant value in her life and it is in his heart”, he emphasized.
The royal couple met when they were students at the University of St Andrews and became close friends before romance blossomed in 2002.
It has been 20 years since their relationship went public, since Prince William and Kate Middleton were photographed together on the slopes of the Swiss ski resort of Klosters.
It may have been a while since those carefree early years of their love, but Prince William is as devoted to his wife as ever and determined to be by her side while she undergoes cancer treatment.
Although their responsibilities and obligations to the crown and royal duties will increase over time as they prepare for their destiny as king and queen, the couple choose to prioritize family right now.
They want to keep things as normal as possible for their children, 10-year-old Prince George, 8-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-year-old Prince Louis, whose birthday is today (23.04.2024).
“Kate is doing her best to stick to a routine for the sake of the children,” the royal expert said. “It was a huge shock when they first found out the diagnosis, but they are both mentally strong.”
“Undoubtedly, the couple has become closer,” he concluded.
