Murphy said during statements to “talk SPORT”: “There may be an idea in his mind that his departure from Saudi Arabia will somewhat correct the mistakes of the people who accused him of greed and his love of money, but I think this is a lesson for others who are looking from afar.”
The former Liverpool player added: “Everyone should think carefully regarding it. Jordan was rich anyway and I believe that being satisfied with football is the starting point for being happy in your life.”
He continued, saying: “There are people who translate things in a special way, but here Henderson spoiled it, and I do not think so from the point of view of Liverpool fans, but for a wide range of footballers, his character and reputation were completely damaged by what happened.”
