Beirut – “Al Quds Al Arabi”: The former Miss Lebanon, Valerie Abou Chakra, did not let her husband, businessman Ziad Ammar, carry her two twin daughters alone on the shoulders on Palm Sunday, but she, in turn, carried one of them during the Palm Sunday procession in a Beirut street. Unlike some celebrities who hide the faces of their children and do not want to publish their photos in the media, Valerie Abu Chakra showed the faces of her two children and returned to her followers on social media on Palm Sunday.
Also, the star Nancy Ajram celebrated Palm Sunday with her three daughters and published pictures of them in the garden of the villa in which she lives in the Suhaila area of Kesrouan, and the girls seemed to hold candles.
As for the artist, Najwa Karam wished peace for Lebanon, and explained the reason for carrying candles and olive branches on this occasion, she said, “The olive symbolizes peace, and the candle symbolizes the light that has become with us.” She believed that “the reception of Jesus in Jerusalem was different from all the receptions of kings, because King of peace, truth, life and love.” She concluded, “Hosanna in the highest.”
