Colombia has 34 places for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

There are representatives at the jousts in athletics, football, swimming, boxing, equestrian, wrestling, gymnastics, archery and sailing.

The 34th place for Colombia was achieved by Luis Felipe Uribe, this victory was full of joy.

The 22-year-old Risarald native got his ticket to the competitions following qualifying for the final of the 3-meter diving at the World Swimming Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Luis Felipe, who has had an outstanding Olympic cycle, was fourth in the 3-meter diving semifinal, with 440.75 points.

Of the 34 places that Colombia has so far, 11 are nominal and 23 numerical (teams), which are distributed among nine National Sports Federations: athletics, soccer, swimming, boxing, equestrian, wrestling, gymnastics, archery and sailing.

The first 18 places, of a numerical nature, were reached by the Colombian Women’s Soccer Team, which obtained the runner-up position in the Copa América 2022.

For its part, the first nominal quota for the country was won by Olympic medalist Lorena Arenas, silver in Tokyo 2020.
