“When they offered us to open a show for Blink-182 here in Monterrey and two in Mexico City and we accepted, the band was already on its last legs. We had two albums, it was like the adventure was over, it had always been like our hobby and we now had to face real life,” highlighted the writer.

Madero’s career in law would come to an end very quickly, because in order to attend the three concerts in which they would open for Blink-182 he had to ask for three days off from his job, which he considered would be easy. to obtain taking into account that he did not receive money for his work.

Madero remembers coming with his boss to ask for permission to miss work on a Friday; However, the response he got was “How come you’re not coming on Friday, where do you think you are?” A situation that caused the singer to choose to resign, since by opening the concerts for Blink-182 they received a good amount of money that would help him survive without employment for some time.

“We went to open the concerts and it went very well, then we decided to record another album. We got together to start composing and my then-girlfriend didn’t like the idea that I no longer had a job and that my adventure in rock was going to continue, so she broke up with me.

After that, the band released their third album, called Para ti con desprecio, which led them to consolidate their career and become a rock reference in Mexico.
