Zhuang Renxiang, a spokesman for the Central Epidemic Command Center, said that the local BA.5 epidemic has recently re-emerged. In order to allow the elderly over 65 years old to be diagnosed as soon as possible, to strive for timeliness and early medication, 5 doses of household antigen rapid screening reagents for the elderly over 65 years old are provided free of charge.
Zhuang Renxiang said that there are more than 3.99 million elderly people over the age of 65, and it is estimated that regarding 19.955 million doses of home antigen rapid screening tests will be distributed. This number of free copies will not be counted into the purchase qualification of the real-name system, that is, the elderly over 65 who have purchased the real-name system quick screening can still receive one free 5 doses of quick screening reagents. The collection locations are nearly 5,000 real-name health care pharmacies and health clinics that sell household rapid screening reagents.
