How are the new currency notes? The results of the competition were revealed

The Central Bank of Pakistan State Bank of Pakistan has declared the results at the end of the competition held for new currency notes.

The first prize for the design of the Rs 10 bank note was awarded to Dr. Sherry Abdi, while Mirza Sufyan bagged the second position.

The names of Haroon Khan for Rs 20 note, Syed Fawad Hussain for Rs 50 note, Maimoona Afzal for Rs 100 and Rs 5000 notes will be shortlisted who have bagged the first prize in both the categories.

The first prize in Rs 500 note was given to Hadiya Hasan and the second prize was given to Aini Zahra, the first prize in Rs 1000 note was won by Noreen Aslam and the second prize for Rs 5000 thousand note was Karim Muhammad.

According to the State Bank, the shortlisted designs are only symbolic in nature and these designs are being sent to international designers, who will create the new currency notes.

The Central Bank of Pakistan says that while international designers will be guided by these designs, they will be free to use their own skills and imagination to create the final design.

In this regard, the Deputy Governor of State Bank Salimullah said that there are seven denominations, so there are 21 prizes, the first prize is 10 lakh rupees, the second prize is 5 lakh rupees and the third prize is 3 lakh rupees.
