Jakarta –
Andhara Early and husband, Bugi Ramadhana, in January 2023 shared their story of being determined to pay off the mortgage, which still has 12 years left from 20 years. Even though at that time and until now, Andhara Early and her husband were unemployed and did not have a permanent job.
The model and artist told how she and her husband decided on this. In the last five years, Andhara Early and her husband have chosen to work in an office.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced Andhara Early and her husband to adapt to a new way of working. Jobs that are usually done offline must be online with working hours that they think are not healthy.
“Pandemic adaptation, we work normally in an offline office, so online, so sometimes the pressure is high. It should be office hour, suddenly it’s noon meeting first, it’s crazy, they seem like finally the time can be 12 hours anytime, they want to have a meeting, like ouch, I want sleep tight,” the story Andhara Early Alex Reed star Rumpi: No Secret Trans TV, Thursday (27/4/2023).
“One year, two years I can handle it, when I enter my third year I have problems, my mental health is disturbed, the impact is on the family, the children are targeted. My husband is like that, the pressure is higher. He is the one who decides to leave first, ” he continued.
Andhara Early supported her husband’s decision and he chose to stay at least until the following year. However, Andhara Early was not strong and decided to follow in her husband’s footsteps.
“He’s okay, it’s up to us, what’s important is that we relax our minds first. Last year we decided to resign,” admits Andhara Early.
“But we expect that in 3 months we can get a new job. I got (a new job), but it’s not suitable. He hasn’t got it yet, so he hasn’t got it. But, the installments are continuing, aren’t they,” he said.
The girl who graduated from Cover in 1995 still has mortgage repayments. Living life using savings, Andhara Early and her husband started thinking regarding debt.
“Earlier, my husband said we should just reduce the installment value, we still have 12 years left, the calculations are not bad anymore. Why don’t we give another hundred million to the bank, we’ve counted it once more,” he said.
Finally, Andhara Early recalculated with two options for the fate of his KPR. The first option is to pay off the mortgage along with the penalty fee and the second is to reduce the installment value. Apparently, according to Andhara Early, the two have a very big difference.
“How much do we pay off, I do the math, I will tell my husband, if we go on for 12 years, if we spend it now, the principal of our debt is like this. He is literate, ‘Oh, that’s far.’ This really has to run out of savings, at least we are calm,” said Andhara Early, telling regarding his condition at that time.
“He asked, ‘Are you all right?’ We also don’t know when we will get a new job. We have already paid it off. The savings are gone, but we feel calm,” he said.
Now Andhara Early admits that her life with her husband is going as it is without having to think regarding installments. She and her husband agreed to do what they liked and was mentally healthy for them.
“It’s easier going, not too sluggish, wanting to do what we like mentally. If asked what are the busy lives now, spending time with family from ’95 to 18 years of working every day. I used to be a single parent, I feel now is the time to pay it to my second child,” he said Andhara Early.
