After receiving the report, the police launched an investigation into the family members of the woman.
During the investigation, the Indonesian maid did not admit to stealing at first, until the rustling sound of paper rubbing once morest her body during the escort process attracted the attention of the staff. After the search, the officers found the pawn ticket on the Indonesian maid, and then found jewelry in the lunch box bag, confirming that she stole the things.
It is understood that the Indonesian maid will face charges including theft and miscellaneous violations; however, she only pleaded guilty to 2 of them, and the other 2 will be considered by the judge when sentencing.
