It is clarified that the thunderstorm was accompanied by heavy rain and hurricane-force winds. Parents walking in the park with children aged from one to ten years old hid under the roof of the building of the House of National Unity and stood there for an hour, getting wet in the rain. It was impossible to completely shelter from the weather there.
When asked to let them in at least on the threshold of the building, the cleaning lady said that she had only washed the floors. And the guard locked the door with a key and turned off the light.
Information about this scandal caused a resonance and reached the head of the House of National Unity. He conducted an official check, after which the guard who did not let people in was removed from work. The administration of the institution believes that the man just needed to coordinate the issue with the management – and then the incident could have been avoided.
“A security guard who allows himself such behavior towards residents will not work in the house. Note that the security guard is not a full-time employee,” said the press service of the house.
