In the trend ranking of “Top Employers Austria 2024”, the non-profit organization took first place in the “Health Insurance, Health and Social Affairs” category.

Vienna (OTS) – In this year’s ranking of “Top Employers Austria 2024” by the business magazine trend, the House of Mercy is at the top of the companies in the health and social sector for the first time. The non-profit provider for long-term care and support, which operates in Vienna and Lower Austria, relies on a corporate culture that focuses on the well-being of its employees. “So that we can offer our residents the best possible quality of life, we must also offer our employees good conditions for their demanding work,” emphasizes Christoph Gisinger, Institute Director of the House of Mercy. This commitment was recognized for the first time in the Austria-wide ranking in the area of ​​“health insurance, health and social affairs” with first place. “The fact that the House of Mercy leads the industry ranking of the best employers shows us that we are already doing a lot of things right and motivates us to continue our strong focus on our employees,” says Gisinger.

Care and support: A job with meaning

At the House of Mercy, 1,900 employees with different professional profiles work together on a multi-professional basis. “It is important to us that our employees experience meaning and joy in their job every day. Because a job in nursing and care has a lot to offer,” emphasizes Wilma Wiesnegger-Hille, Human Resources Manager at the House of Mercy. With flexible working time models and programs for company health promotion, the House of Mercy is meeting the increasing need for personnel in long-term care and work for the disabled. “We focus very much on the wishes and needs of our employees. “This includes, for example, a good work-life balance and a good work-life balance,” summarizes Wiesnegger-Hille. In addition, the House of Mercy offers numerous training and further education opportunities as well as various benefits for its employees.

The ranking of the “Top Employers Austria”

For the “Top Employers Austria 2024” ranking, 1,400 employers with more than 200 employees from 20 industries were analyzed. The rating is based on anonymous online surveys by the Hamburg statistics company Statista and reviews on the kununu rating platform. The ranking is published annually by the business magazine trend.

The House of Mercy group

The non-profit House of Mercy offers long-term care and support for people in severe need of care. We care for around 1,300 residents with chronic illnesses in seven care facilities in Vienna and Lower Austria. Including 14 children and young people in the FRIDOLINA child care home. With HABIT, the House of Mercy integration team, we support around 430 people with multiple disabilities and a high need for support in our 17 shared apartments, dormitory associations as well as temporary living, five day centers and mobile support at home.
