The company organizing the concert of American comedian Kevin Hart in Cairo announced the cancellation of the concert, hours before its scheduled date.
The organizing company revealed that the decision to cancel Kevin Hart’s concert in Cairo, on February 21, came due to what it said were “local logistical problems”, the nature of which was not explained in a statement issued on social media platforms.
The company confirmed that it is currently working on arranging the process of refunding the value of tickets sold to the public, expressing its gratitude to all those who supported it during the last period.
The past weeks have witnessed calls to boycott the event in Cairo, and a number of activists on social media platforms have launched a campaign to cancel the ceremony, due to the ideas of Pan-Africanism that Kevin Hart is spreading and supporting.
The promoters of African central ideas claim that the ancient Pharaonic civilization in Egypt was built by the peoples of Africa south of the Sahara, not the Egyptians.
