Hottest day expected on Wednesday before thunderstorms – Toulon – Maville.com

The heat wave is expected this Wednesday, August 28 in France. Temperatures will be around 30°C in a large majority of the country. However, storms could occur afterwards and cool the atmosphere.

The weather channel announced a “beautiful summer day” Wednesday, but also from “very hot weather”one week before the start of the school year.

The coasts of Brittany and Normandy will, however, escape the high temperatures and Météo France announces “very pleasant values ​​in the evening”.

In Champagne-Ardenne and Aisne, bright sunshine is expected with temperatures reaching or even exceeding 30°C. According to Météo France forecasts, it will be up to 30°C in Reims, Sedan and Laon. Up to 32°C is even expected in Troyes.

Storms in sight

Storms could still appear at the end of the week. On Thursday, a storm disturbance is expected to cross the territory from southwest to northeast. Météo France is warning of a risk of storms in the Ardennes on Thursday evening.

Temperatures could therefore drop. This weekend, especially Sunday, thunderstorms are expected to break out in the vast majority of the country.
