Hotel New Grand “The Cafe” Enjoy the traditional recipes handed down from the first head chef at “Autumn…

The Cafe, a coffee house located on the first floor of the main building of Hotel New Grand, will be offering an Autumn Old Classic Fair from September 1st to October 15th, where you can savor traditional recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation since the hotel’s first executive chef, Sally Weil.

This fair is a course meal, with two main dishes to choose from. You can choose from either “Beef Cutlet” or “Head-on Shrimp with American Sauce.” The soup is a fragrant “Mushroom and Sweet Potato Potage,” and the dessert is “Tea and Apple Tart.” In the fall, when the weather calms down and you can enjoy the deliciousness of seasonal ingredients, why not enjoy a variety of gourmet dishes that have been passed down for many years?

“Beef cutlet” is made by carefully grilling tender and juicy beef fillet. The rich sauce, which is based on traditional demi-glace sauce and has Lea & Perrins sauce as a secret ingredient, and whole grain mustard bring out the deliciousness of the meat.

“Head-on Shrimp American Sauce” is made by flambéing whole shrimp with brandy, allowing you to fully enjoy the shrimp broth. The rich American sauce is full of shrimp flavor, and by adding white wine, diced tomatoes, and finally butter, it becomes a mellow and rich sauce.
