This followingnoon, a fire broke out in a high-rise hotel in the middle of Gangnam, Seoul, and regarding 40 people, including guests, were evacuated.
Thirty-six fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, causing extreme traffic congestion in the Gangnam area over the weekend.

Gray smoke billows out through the cracks in the hotel door.
You can see the flames burning from inside the window.
At around 3pm today, a fire broke out on the first floor of a 19-story hotel in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
In an instant, thick smoke spread inside the building, and 44 people, including staff and guests, were rescued or evacuated themselves.

“I was going to check-in, but there was a great smell of burning and there was a lot of smoke…”
Fortunately, no one was injured, but 36 fire engines were dispatched, causing severe traffic congestion around Gangnam Station on the weekend.
The fire department believes the fire started from the ceiling of the cafe on the first floor of the hotel and is investigating the cause of the fire.

The taxi was completely crushed front and back, and the glass on the bus door was shattered.
Early this morning, on a road in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a car collided with a passerby and a taxi one following another.
Eight people including passengers and passersby were injured when the taxi collided with a bus standing at the station once more, and a woman in her 20s was seriously injured and lost consciousness.

“No one has died. Eight minutes of the patient was transferred to the hospital (I did.)”
The male driver in his 20s who caused the accident was in a state of intoxication at the level of license revocation.
The police are considering whether to arrest the driver as a current offender and apply the charge of aiding drunk driving to two women in their 20s who were riding with them.

A fire broke out in a multi-family house in Gangseo-gu, Seoul this morning and was extinguished in an hour.
One resident suffered burns to his hands and legs as a result of the fire and was taken to hospital.

“There was a huge fire. Black smoke came up together…”
Police and fire departments believe the fire was caused by an electrical short and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
