Hossam Ashour will not continue with Al-Ittihad

belbalady Mohamed Moselhi, president of Al Ittihad Club of Alexandria, stressed that Hossam Ashour will not continue with the team.

Moselhi said on Al-Shams channel: “I am sad about what Hossam Ashour has done.”

He explained, “At the end of last season, he had paid all his dues, injured the cruciate ligament, and we stood with him, and the club took care of everything in his treatment and rehabilitation, and we did not delay him in anything.”

He continued, “Since joining, he has played 312 minutes in more than 50 matches.”

He continued, “Many people blamed him for filing a complaint against the club. We prevented him from going to the stadium, and he said that he would complain to us.”

He concluded, stressing, “Hossam Ashour will not continue with Al-Ittihad.”

Hossam Ashour spoke in brief statements to FilGoal.com, saying earlier: “I submitted a complaint to the Football Association against the Alexandrian Federation because of the delay in my dues to the club.”

He continued, “I have not received my dues for a while, so I filed a complaint.”

Hossam Ashour signed with Al Ittihad of Alexandria last season on a free transfer for two seasons.

Ashour sustained a cruciate ligament tear at the end of last season and did not participate during his current match in any match with the leader of Al-Thaqer so far.

The 36-year-old player played 10 matches with the Alexandrian Federation in all tournaments.

The Alexandrian Federation is preparing to meet Ismaily next Wednesday in the 13th round of the Egyptian League.
