In conjunction with the beginning of the sixth wave of the Corona pandemic, the Ministry of Health decided to transfer the Abbasid Chest Hospital, Abbasid Fever and Helwan from partial isolation hospitals to full isolation hospitals, to accommodate the expected numbers of hospitalization cases.
The ministry said that an isolation room will be allocated in all hospitals to reserve waiting and emergency cases of Covid cases, until they are transferred to isolation hospitals to ensure the stability of the epidemiological situation and the non-spread of infection.
And the Ministry of Health announced last week that the epidemiological curve of the Corona virus is witnessing a noticeable increase in the number of Corona infections.
The Ministry of Health called on citizens to take all necessary precautions to prevent the virus, wear masks, ensure social distancing, stay away from crowds, and not be in closed places.
She called on citizens to go to vaccination centers to obtain vaccination and a booster dose to enhance the body’s immunity and confront the new Corona mutants, stressing the continuation of raising the highest levels of maximum preparedness at the level of the Republic to follow up on the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus and take the necessary precautionary measures and preserve the successes achieved by Egypt during the pandemic.
