Hospitals and sanatoriums require the use of the chinstrap in the province

“The use of chinstraps remains mandatory within health institutions,” say the posters that populate the walls of a renowned sanatorium in Rosario where, in addition, at the entrance, they invite people to drink alcohol, which is available.

From the province they confirmed that this indication “it’s correct”, but is not established in the latest decree of Governor Omar Perotti, in which the obligation was left aside to become a suggestion.

However, according to information accessed The capital, next week the health portfolio would be indicating the mandatory use of the mask in the public and private health sphereso the regulation of last April 20 will be modified.

However, these days many health entities, both public and private, have decided to follow the line of obligation.

Doctors, nurses, stretcher bearers, administrative staff did not remove their masks either.

A tour of this newspaper through different health institutions in the city was able to determine that the majority of those who enter clinics, sanatoriums or health centers do so with a mask on.

In offices, the situation is repeated: both doctors and patients use it. And in some sanatoriums they offer them if the person tries to enter without the mask.

Probably, this protection tool that was imposed with the pandemic will remain in force for a long time, especially in sanatoriums, hospitals and other places linked to the care of people with health problems.

resolution

In the same text it is highlighted that “it is convenient to reiterate the health recommendation to complete the vaccination schedule with a second dose and a booster dose.”
