TIGER Wong Entertainment and Prime Eagle Studios released the official poster for their latest horror-thriller film, Lembayung, directed by Baim Wong. The poster clearly shows the scary face of the ghost that terrorizes the characters throughout the film.
Lembayung will follow Pica’s terrifying experience with her friend, Arum, while undergoing internship activities at a dental polyclinic unit in a small town in Central Java. At first everything went well, but as time went by they actually got mystical terror and experienced trauma.
Taskya Namya was trusted to play Pica, while Yasamin Jasem was chosen to play Arum. In addition to the two of them, the film also stars Arya Saloka, Oka Antara, Anna Jobling, Erick Estrada, Asri Welas, Ence Bagus, Daffa Wardhana, Wulan Guritno, Paula Verhoeven, Kiano Tiger Wong, Tyo Pakusadewo, Sari Nila, Mario Maulana and Dayu Wijanto.
The story of this film starts from a horror thread on Twitter titled Jin Poli Gigi, written by Pica while still a nursing student through the account @saturnrushx. The thread went viral in 2022 with many likes and retweets, but Pica stopped writing his story due to trauma from the scary experience he had.
The film Lembayung marks Baim Wong’s first time sitting in the director’s chair after being a producer for the film Berbalas Kejar. In addition to being a director, Baim Wong was also involved in writing the screenplay for the film Lembayung with Gemati Rahayu.

Baim Wong said that Lembayung will present a different sensation of watching a horror film from previous Indonesian horror films.
“For me, the Lembayung film is not just a horror film, but also a tense thriller with a surprising plot twist in it. Supported by the quality of the actors, I think Indonesian audiences will like the results of the film later,” said director and co-writer of the Lembayung film Baim Wong in a press release received by Media Indonesia, Wednesday, (7/8).
In collaboration with Prime Eagle Studios, Lembayung is the second film produced by Tiger Wong Entertainment and the first to be shown on the big screen. Previously, Tiger Wong Entertainment produced the film Berbalas Kejam which won the Citra Cup at the 2023 Indonesian Film Festival thanks to Reza Rahadian’s performance in the film. (M-4)
