Horror in Chippewa Falls: 10-year-old girl killed then raped by 14-year-old

Lily Peters, a 10-year-old girl, was raped and killed by a 14-year-old boy in Wisconsin, USA.

The facts date back to last Sunday. Lily was last seen by family members. She was supposed to be going home from her aunt’s house when she disappeared. Lily’s father called the police later that night and officers discovered her bicycle in a wooded area near a footpath. This is where his lifeless body was found.

Preliminary autopsy results from the Chippewa County Medical Examiner indicate that his death was the result of strangulation and blunt force trauma. No other details were disclosed.

The suspect, identified only as “CP-B.” is 14 years old. He resides with his mother and knew Lily Peters, according to the Chippewa Falls police chief.

He faces 3 counts: first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault, and first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13, resulting in grievous bodily harm, District Attorney Wade explained. Newell.

The accused – who was arrested on Tuesday – told law enforcement that “his intention was to rape and kill the victim from the start” when they walked down the wooded trail where her body was found on Monday, the prosecutor told a hearing. The prosecutor also explains that the accused had also told the police that he had struck the victim in the stomach, throwing him to the ground, “strangled her, hit her with a stick, then strangled her to death, before sexually assaulting her.”

To protect the community and ensure the accused does not abscond, a bail of $1 million in cash was set by the judge, on the condition that he have no contact with other minors and has no dangerous weapons.

It is premature to make any decisions as to whether the case will remain in adult court. In Wisconsin, first-degree intentional homicide, which is the first charge in the criminal complaint, begins with adult court.
