The section of the Amateur Theater Festival, which is under the auspices of the International Festival of Patras, continues at 9.30 on the evening of Wednesday 10 July in the Old Slaughterhouses with the presentation by the theater group “Theorikon” of Dario Fo’s excellent comedy “Klaxon, trumpets and plates”.
It is a performance with intense political, social and ideological satire written in a way that only Dario Fo knew how to offer. It is no coincidence that Dario Fo played in this play, a fact that shows the importance of the text. A text through which the author in an exceptional way gives the viewer the possibility to perceive the political-social reality that still lives today.
On stage will be “parade” archmafioso policemen and investigators who sell madness, a mad doctor who anoints psychiatric analysis. With them are Antonio, a nurse who thinks he is Anieli and Anieli who thinks he is Antonio, their wife Rosa who will “play it” and Lucia who will… endure it.
The actors (in order of appearance), Andrianna Papandreou, Christos Giachalis, Panagiotis Michalopoulos, Vicky Stavropoulou, Takis Togias and Dimitris Bandios are playing.
