A subversive comedy with intense political, social and ideological satire, written as only Dario Fo knew how to offer, hosts today Wednesday 10 July at 9.30 pm on the stage of the Old Slaughterhouses the section of the Amateur Theater Festival.
Title of the performance which is staged by the theater group “Theorikon”, “Horns, Trumpets and Plates”. Fans of amateur theater will enjoy the theatrical transfer of a text through which the author in an exceptional way gives the viewer the possibility to perceive the political-social reality that still lives today. It is no coincidence that Dario Fo played in this play, a fact that shows the importance of the text.
Chief mafioso policemen and investigators who sell madness, a mad doctor who anoints psychiatric analysis, Antonio the nurse who thinks he is Anieli and Anieli who thinks he is Antonio, their wife Rosa who will “play” and Lucia who will… bear it, they parade offering plenty of laughter and reflection.
The actors are (in order of appearance), Andrianna Papandreou, Christos Giachalis, Panagiotis Michalopoulos, Vicky Stavropoulou, Takis Togias and Dimitris Bandios.
