PlayStation France is regarding to launch a major artistic initiative, introducing a pop-up art gallery dedicated to the highly anticipated Horizon: Forbidden West, within the metro network in three major French cities.
With these exhibitions that will take place from February 18 to March 3, 2022, PlayStation France accompanies the release of the second opus of the Horizon license in an unusual way, since metro users in the cities of Paris, Lille and Marseille will very soon be able to enjoy an art gallery dedicated to the saga which features Aloy, the red-haired warrior struggling with terrible machines.

Located in the heart of the Rond-Point du Prado station, on line 2, the art gallery will allow you to admire the works of Simple G, an artist who lives in Athens and studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Greece. He has exhibited his creations in his country of origin, but also internationally, notably in France in 2018. Simple G has been creating “Street Art” murals since the end of 2009, in a photorealistic style, which he produces in particular at the spray, freehand.
Welcome to the Ch’tis
This time, go to Lille, in the corridor of Lille Flandres station, to discover the productions of WD Wild Drawing (Wild Drawing for Dessin Sauvage), also a specialist in Street Art. Originally from Bali in Indonesia, he studied at a Fine Arts school. It was during his studies in 2000 that he started in Street Art and created the Pojok collective with other students whose project is to exercise their talents in the public space. A graduate of Fine and Applied Arts and residing in Athens since 2006, WD uses different techniques, but he specializes in those involving rollers and spray cans. The frescoes he creates are visible in Europe, North America and Asia.
A short tour of the capital’s metro
In the Paris metro, on the platform of the Gare Saint-Lazare station on line 3, we will find the works of several artists, who are Oskunk, Pikanoa, Chek, Star97, Fleur Blume and Kan. Oskunk is an illustrator and customizer, the French artist declares that he finds a great source of inspiration in the worlds of video games, mangas, comics and graffiti. Pikanoa describes herself as passionate regarding artistic creation and she indicates that she has been evolving in the worlds of video games and pop-culture since her early childhood. Chek specializes in graffiti, as does Star 97, who also handles the art of murals. Fleur Blume uses different media: canvas, murals, engraving, she often uses monochrome tones. Finally, Kan, an artist born in France, combines his passion for computers, video and design with traditional graffiti techniques. Kan practices in particular Pixel Art.
The variety of styles of the artists chosen to put their talent at the service of the Horizon license promises impressive ephemeral art galleries, a nice highlight of the new episode Horizon: Forbidden West, scheduled to join our consoles this February 18.
