Yesterday, HoReCa Empowered, the free training program organized by Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon for industry professionals, was held with great success, in Patras and distinto.
The HoReCa Empowered returned with a renewed cycle with the perfect dose of experience, knowledge and passion, just before the start of another dynamic season.
In this cycle, young job seekers in the coffee industry as well as baristas and bartenders who have already taken their first steps in the field, were informed about the new market trends.
At the event pmany young people from different areas of Patras participated and had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the most modern techniques around coffee, spirits and mixology, through unique, interactive masterclasses.
Participants were provided with both practical knowledge as well as soft skillsa combination that constitutes the secret “recipe” of the blend for anyone who dreams of a successful course and wants to claim a special place in the community of baristas and bartenders.
This year the program travels throughout Greece to 5 major cities, recognizing the potential that HoReCa has in each of them. It had its “premiere” in Thessaloniki, the next stop was Athens, followed by Larissa and Patras, while the journey ends in Ioannina, on April 10.
It should be noted that the cities of Thessaloniki, Athens, Larissa and Patras welcomed the program with enthusiasm, with the masterclasses gathering over 1,800 applications, while registrations are still open for Ioannina.
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s cycle is the development and networking opportunities it offers through scholarships from the SCA for coffee and the WSET for spirits. Already, 30 young professionals from the masterclasses in Thessaloniki, Athens, Larissa and Patras have won the first scholarships, declaring themselves excited about the development prospects that are opening up for them.
