The management of the “Cairo International Film Festival” decided in its next session to honor the artist Ahmed Ezz for all his works and contributions to the Egyptian cinema industry and his roles that left an imprint in the history of Egyptian cinema.

Ahmed Ezz has presented in the cinema since his appearance in the movie “Teenage Diaries” with Hend Sabry, many works that left a great impact on Egyptian cinema and achieved huge revenues, as the revenues of his last two films exceeded the barrier of one hundred million pounds, in a precedent that is the first of its kind in the history of Egyptian cinema. Thus, he and artist Karim Abdel Aziz became the only two stars whose films achieved revenues that broke the barrier of one hundred million pounds.

On the other hand, Ahmed Ezz is preparing to begin preparation sessions for his new movie, “The Death Squad”, which he brings together for the third time with the artist, Menna Shalaby, following their participation together in the films “Badal Faked”, which was shown in 2009, and “Crime”, which was shown last year 2022, Where she contracted with Menna to star in the film, which takes place in a Saeedi framework during the period of the forties and the beginning of the fifties, that is, the period in which the Upper Egypt line was present, and it is scheduled to start filming next October, and it is written by Salah Al-Juhaini and directed by Ahmed Alaa El-Deeb.
