The Honor Play 40 was announced this Wednesday morning (17) as a new entry-level smartphone that focuses on cost-effectiveness, bringing balanced specifications for those looking for a basic device for browsing social networks and streaming. It features an elegant design, but without any noticeable emphasis on the look or construction.
As stated in the specifications, the device features a 6.56-inch TFT LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720 × 1612 pixels) and 20.5:9 aspect ratio with standard 90 Hz refresh. There is also a hole at the top for the 5 megapixel selfie camera, while at the rear there is a dual 13 MP (main) and 2 MP (depth) camera.
Moving on to the internal hardware, the platform that equips the Honor Play 40 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ — octa-core up to 2 GHz and 8 nm lithography — with the Adreno 619 GPU and two RAM memory options: 6 GB or 8 GB. GB. The internal storage, in turn, offers up to 256 GB with a slot for expansion via microSD.
