The Honor Magic V2 foldable phone, which has already been launched in Hong Kong, is believed to be joined by new members later. At the Magic V2 European launch conference held in Germany yesterday, Honor announced that the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design will also be sold in overseas markets outside China. When the phone was released in the middle of this month, Honor never revealed whether the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design was limited to the Chinese market.
Confirmed there will be an international version
In addition to the body design of the well-known design studio Porsche Design, the biggest selling point of the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is its body thickness, which is only 9.9mm when folded. Honor claims that this is the thinnest folding phone on the market. Another manufacturer advertises a 6.43-inch screen with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 2,500nits.

Other features of the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design include a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge structure and a new silicon-carbon battery with a total capacity of 5,000 mAh, composed of two ultra-thin cells. The combination of the two makes the body weigh only 231g. Honor claims that the new titanium alloy hinge can withstand 400,000 flips, or 100 flips per day for 10 years.
The listing arrangements for the international version have not yet been announced
Other specifications include Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 1TB storage, camera consisting of 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle and 20MP telephoto lens, etc. Unfortunately, Honor did not mention the price of the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. The Chinese version is priced at RMB 15,999 (approximately HK$17,699), while the regular version of Magic V2 is priced at HK$10,999 in Hong Kong.
