Honor introduced pop-up selfie camera phones for the first time, leaving other smartphones behind

Huawei’s subsidiary ‘Honor’ has introduced 2 flagship mid-range phones with pop-up selfie cameras for the first time.

After the success of the 8X series released last year, Honor introduced the 9X and 9X Pro, which are being touted as the best mid-range phones.

Honor 9X is offered in 2 models, both models have the same screen size of 59.6 inches and also both have Kiran 810 chipset.

The Honor 9X is offered in two models with 4GB and 6GB RAM and both have a 48-megapixel rear camera.

Both the Honor 9X models have a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera and will be the first phones from Honor to be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera.

Honor 9 x 4GB model is priced at PKR 33,000 while the 6GB model is priced at PKR 37,000.

Similarly, the Honor 9X Pro is also offered in two models and both models have the same screen size of 59.6 inches.

The Honor 9X Pro also has a 48-megapixel rear camera, along with a 2-megapixel rear camera on the back like the Honor 9X.

Both the Honor 9X Pro models have a 16-megapixel selfie camera and these phones also feature a pop-up style camera. The Honor 9X Pro is offered in 8GB and 8GB+ models.

The price of Honor 9X Pro 8GB is more than 51 thousand Pakistani rupees, while the price of Honor 9X Pro 8GB Plus is kept up to 56 thousand rupees.

Honor has initially launched both the phones in China only and the company has started booking pre-orders for the phones.

The Honor 9X is expected to go on sale in general stores in China on July 30 this month and the Honor 9X Pro by the first week of August next month.

It is believed that both the mobiles will be launched in China after they have been launched in Singapore, Thailand and India in Pakistan.

Both Honor’s X series mobiles are likely to be launched in Pakistan in late September or early November.
