The Chinese company, Honor, the smart phone maker, officially launched today, Monday, its new series of phones, “HONOR 70”, which includes three versions with different specifications and settings, and comes within the middle category that attracts young people greatly.

The basic version of the new series of phones, called “HONOR 70”, comes with a large 6.67-inch “OLED” screen, “FHD +” resolution, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz with curved edges. The screen supports HDR 10 with a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

The new smartphone is powered by a powerful “Snapdragon 778G+” processor from the American company “Qualcomm”, paired with a random access memory (RAM) of up to 12 GB and an internal storage of up to 512 GB.

The phone works with the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box with the “traditional Honor” interface, “Magic UI 6.1”.

The phone is characterized by its thinness and lightness despite the paired screen panel, as it weighs only 178 grams and is 7.91 mm thick. The phone has a fingerprint reader built into the screen.

The “HONOR 70” phone supports many communication options, such as the fifth generation (5G) and the fourth generation (4G or LTE), “Wi-Fi 802.11ax” dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz), “Bluetooth 5.2” and “GPS”. And “USB Type-C”, and the phone includes a 4800 mAh battery that charges up to 66 watts.

For photography, the phone has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a third 2-megapixel depth sensor.

On the front, the phone houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The screen is quad-curved, which means that it curves slightly at the top and bottom as well. And the processor was changed to the “MediaTek Dimensity 8000” type. And while the battery capacity drops slightly at 4,500mAh, charging jumps to speeds of up to 100W.

The camera on the phone has also changed. The settings and specifications of the phone are exactly the same as in the “Pro” phone, with only two exceptional changes. The first change comes in upgrading the processor to the “MediaTek Dimensity 9000” chip, which is significantly faster, and the second change, is a strange regression, as there is no storage option 512 GB, and the phone only supports a storage capacity of 256 GB only.
