The Women’s World Lacrosse U20 Championship (U19 before 2019) has been held since 1995 and is held in a different city every four years. It is a high-level event of the World Lacrosse Federation.

The opening match kicked off at around 7pm. Less than 5 minutes into the game, the Hong Kong team scored the first goal and temporarily took 1 point, but the Jamaican team quickly broke through and tied the score at 1:1, and then scored another goal to lead 2:1 in the first quarter.
