Popular Indian music producer, singer and actor-singer Honey Singh, also known as Yo Yo Honey Singh, is currently appearing in several podcasts, where he speaks his heart out. Recently, he participated in The Lalan Top podcast, where he respectfully shared his views on Islam.
Talking about his introduction to Islam, Honey Singh said, ‘I moved to Mohali in 2007, I didn’t have a job at that time. In Punjab I had the opportunity to meet religious people. I was just a music producer at the time. When I came to Punjab, I was introduced to Islam by many religious scholars, I was an atheist at that time. I gained extensive knowledge about Islam through these religious people.
Yoyo Honey Singh added that, I came to know about Hazrat Musa and Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him). I came to know about Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). I just listened to them. What is the role of Hazrat Isa described in the Holy Qur’an? I know. I was not popular then, no one knew Honey Singh. I had questions about religion. What happened to that? Why did it happen? Which were answered by these religious elders or Sufis. Later, after 2011-12 I got fame, money and everything in my life.
It was at that time that I forgot to thank God and started following Satanic powers, which was wrong on my part. And from there everything started going wrong in my life and then I relapsed again in 2018 after my illness. Now I firmly believe in God, said Honey Singh.
It may be noted that singer Honey Singh has recently released a new album and his song Glory is trending simultaneously in India and Pakistan.
Honey Singh’s talk about Islam is loved by a large number of fans. Also praying for the juggler to stay on the right path. Karamdah is very happy to see this positive and religious side of Honey Singh which has never come out before.
