Thomas emphasized that the Honda Scoopy is in the top three AHM sales in Indonesia. This vehicle is side by side with other well-known automatic scooters.
“Basically (Honda Scoopy) is in the top three (highest sales). So there is BeAT, there is Vario and Scoopy,” he said.
Honda Scoopy is only marketed in two countries, namely Thailand and Indonesia. However, the largest market remains in Indonesia with a population of 8.5 million units since its first appearance in 2010.
After the success of the previous five generations, PT AHM finally launched the sixth generation Honda Scoopy. This motorbike has changed a lot compared to the previous model, especially in terms of design or appearance.
The new Honda Scoopy now uses a headlamp or main light with a crystal block design. Apart from that, the pair of turn signals has a new appearance with a slightly lower position.
The handlebars of the new Honda Scoopy are no longer bare, but have additional covers or protectors attached. Then there are new air hole accents on the face of the vehicle.
Not only the front, the back has also changed. The manufacturer has equipped it with new tail lights with an arch accent that divides the central area. Meanwhile, the pair of turn signals are made wider and more dominant. Then the wheel rims now adopt a five-spoke model.
The features have also changed. The new Honda Scoopy now uses a fully digital instrument panel that combines a retro and sophisticated impression. Then the cellphone charger socket now adopts a type-C model.
Another change is in the console box, which now has a volume of 4 liters or 1.3 liters more spacious than the fifth generation. This allows drivers to place long items such as drinking bottles.
The new Honda Scoopy is available in four different variants, namely Fashion and Energetic which are sold for IDR 22.5 million, and Stylish and Prestige which are priced at IDR 23.3 million. All have status on the road Jakarta.

Apparently, the Honda Scoopy contributes a whopping 20-23% of their sales in Indonesia! That’s not just a good day at the office; that’s nearly 1 million units flying off the shelves each year—as if they were giving away free pizza on a Friday night!
“Sales are good,” Thomas exclaimed, likely while scrolling through Instagram, where he might’ve seen pictures of folks riding their Scoopies while clutching taco-banana smoothies. “So that’s approximately 1 million units or 20-23 percent of our total sales,” he added, almost like he was trying to convince himself that he wasn’t dreaming!
Top Three, Baby!
Now, let’s not beat around the bush here; the Honda Scoopy isn’t just any old ride. It’s in the holy trinity of AHM sales in Indonesia, nestled comfortably alongside heavyweights like BeAT and Vario. Just imagine the Scoopy sitting there at the bar, ordering the fanciest drink, while the others are still trying to figure out what they want. “Can I get a… *Scoopy-tini*, please?”
One Market, One Star
Honda has made it clear that the Scoopy is only marketed in Thailand and Indonesia, but let’s not kid ourselves—Indonesia is where the action is! With around 8.5 million units sold since its inception in 2010, it’s basically the Justin Bieber of scooters; everybody wants a piece of it!
The Glitzy Makeover
After wowing the crowd with five fabulous generations, we’ve now got a sixth generation model, and boy, does it know how to present itself! It’s had a makeover that rivals even the best runway models during Fashion Week—complete with a headlamp sporting a crystal block design. That’s right, folks, we’re talking about headlights so shiny, they could guide a lost spaceship home.
In addition, the turn signals have got a posh makeover—now lower and sassier than ever. And those handlebars? Oh, honey, they’ve ditched the bare look for trendy covers. It’s like the scooter equivalent of putting on a designer jacket.
Stylish Changes You Can’t Ignore!
The rear isn’t left behind either! New tail lights are rocking an arch accent that’s doing splits! The turn signals are now wider, making sure no one misses them (we all know how frustrating it is when someone doesn’t signal!). And let’s talk wheels! The five-spoke rims scream, “Look at me! I know how to party!”

This Scoopy isn’t just a pretty face—it’s got brains too! The fully digital instrument panel combines retro vibes with a futuristic twist, because who said nostalgia can’t be smart? And yes, it’s got a Type-C charging port because let’s face it, if your phone’s dead, you’re basically a caveman.
Room for Your Bottles!
Additionally, the console box has had an upgrade! It now boasts 4 liters of storage space, which is basically a game changer. You can finally stash that giant drink bottle you’ve been lugging around like a toddler’s stuffed toy. No more juggling drinks while you ride; it’s all about convenience!
