Honda Racing announced on March 26th that Ayumu Iwasa, who belongs to the driver development program “Honda Formula Dream Project” (HFDP), will participate in the “Honda Formula Dream Project” (HFDP) driver training program held at Suzuka Circuit (Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture) on April 5th. Iwasa graduated from Suzuka Circuit Racing School (currently Honda Racing School Suzuka) at the top of his class in 2019. After winning the French F4 championship, he moved up to the European race series, and in 2023 achieved 4th place in the FIA ​​F2 Championship, fulfilling the requirements for obtaining a super license to participate in F1.
