Mexico City. Motorcyclists in the United States have been riding happily since last December, which began the export of Honda’s NAVi model, assembled at the El Salto, Jalisco plant, with the aim of shipping around 12,900 units per year, of the very requested crossover of the Japanese family.

For Honda Mexico, it is an event with various connotations, as it is a model with great acceptance in various latitudes, while the Japanese transnational placed its trust in the manufacture of our country to export the versatile 110-cubic-centimeter scooter, which It is produced under the high standards of Japanese work culture.

The pride of the Mexican workforce will arrive in the American nation with the Navi, an emblematic model for Honda, for which its directors announced the news and the assembly process of the colorful motorcycle.

Important officials of this firm, such as the president and CEO of Honda de México, Dai Fujikawa; Ken Tomiyasu, Honda Co Honda NAVi Developer / Vehicle Development Supervisor; Eduardo López, vice president of manufacturing; Andrés Caballero, sales director; and Jonathan Casillas, national marketing leader, received the media to report on these exports.

For the brand’s managers, it not only represents an increase in production, but also the commitment to Mexico by Navi, which has also generated new jobs; Currently, Honda has more than 5,700 associates in its different facilities and with the announcement of a second production shift, the dream of exporting is now possible.

The president and CEO, expressed the joy of the entire brand for this event; “It is a milestone that marks the return of Honda de México to the path of motorcycle exports; With this, we contribute to strengthening the business in the country, since exports represent close to 90% of the company’s total operations, also adding value to the Mexican economy, while strengthening the development of the workforce in the region, “concluded Fujikawa.

NAVi is characterized by being an easy-to-handle motorcycle, with automatic transmission, so there is no gear lever or clutch control on the handlebars, whose aesthetics oscillate between sporty and versatile. The height of the seat allows almost any user to get their feet on the ground, without limiting the height of the motorcyclist.

This motorcycle has a single cylinder HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine with four times, SOHC, 2 valves, Displacement 109.19 CC, maximum power of 7.83 Hp @ 7,000 rpm, with a torque of 6.6 lb-ft @ 5,500 rpm, forced air cooling system, forced lubrication by trochoidal pump, electric start system and kickstarter, and carburetor with piston valve.

Navi’s lightness, with a 765mm seat height, 156mm ground clearance and 101kg running weight, makes it versatile and maneuverable.
