“In the Gospel that we have proclaimed today we are told when Mary in the company of some relatives goes in search of Jesus and wants to see him there where he is preaching. Mary always respected the decisions of her Son and knew how to accompany him, either from a distance or the closeness, seconding his steps in an intense communion and keeping everything in his heart. We too have come to the Shrine of the Mother because we seek the Lord, we want to get closer to Jesus and be able to see him, because we like to be together and know that we are linked as one large family of Christians. Mary accompanies us, she is the door and the one who leads us to Him, we do not want to be left out of this area where we are invited to enter and participate in familiarity and intimacy. We do not want to get closer just out of curiosity or interest, nor out of habit do we expect a lively and cordial encounter that truly converts, renews and transforms us. We have to take the step that brings us closer physically and the step of opening up to the novelty of his Message so that it reconfigures us. they might get to Jesus because of the crowd; sometimes we can be an obstacle or impediment that prevents others from having the opportunity to be close to Jesus. God free us from it and let us never be hindered either by counter-testimony or by our scandals. Wanting to see Jesus, is to get closer to look into his eyes, it is not a mere seeing, it is an encounter where the gaze embraces us, comforts us, rekindles our hearts; and when the heart is on fire, it descends to the feet and sets us on the way to meet others in the proclamation of the Gospel and in fraternal service. We ask the Virgin Mary to show us Jesus, to lead us to Him, to teach us to listen to him and put her Word into practice with the availability of her Servant and with the tenderness of her Mother. Today we are many, we are a multitude of faces, each one with a story on their shoulders, with a lot of experiences and expectations that the Lord knows well; but we are not a chaotic mass or a confused tide; We have much in common: we share the same faith, the same hunger and thirst for life and happiness, the same desire for fulfillment. Someone has summoned us and we have responded; we feel that we are one body animated by the same Spirit; we form a single heart in which the love of God beats and vibrates; We are a people with roots and with a future, bearers of a memory and a promise. In our midst is the Mother of Jesus, without the Mother there is no unity, She was in the upper room with the Apostles to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and today she is in our midst offering us the blessed fruit of her womb, her beloved Son who He distributes himself to us as the Bread of Life and that he gives us his Spirit. The Gospel tells us that Jesus looked over the crowd and was able to perceive and discover in each one of them a brother, a disciple, a witness of his if he opens up and accepts the Word of God and decides to put it into practice. Jesus widens the circle, opens his space so that everyone can be included, breaks the barriers or borders that mark differences and exclude. Today we tell María that we count on her love to rebuild the homeland we dream of, a homeland where we can also see and recognize each other as brothers, in the midst of so many privations and inequalities we can be the architects of a new society where we assume the path of service and care. mutual instead of the selfish search for oneself. Jesus looks with his heart and from mercy, that is why he can pay attention to the people who appear scattered, dispersed and abandoned; to that multitude that are like sheep without a shepherd, without clear references, without orientation and precise direction. Jesus brings us together to make us feel the strength of communion, encourage our dreams and set our sights on a shared horizon. We ask for our Homeland that the Lord help us to look at reality from his heart and from the tender heart of his Mother, so we can decipher the deepest desires of our people and find together the options that help us move forward. . May it give us its light at night when we feel entangled in our internships or trapped by models and recipes that do not respond to the most vital needs. We renew our own commitment to building a better present and future for all from a just and sustainable order; let us not drown the dream of building a country for all, without so many sterile words and with more gestures of humanity, working for peace, for unity, care for creation and the common good. Argentines are close to beginning a new stage With the next elections, a new starting point, we do not have to expect everything from those who are elected, this would be childish, but rather we have to be an active part in the rehabilitation of our fractures and in the recovery of our institutional and social frailties. We cannot look the other way; each one of us, without naive optimism or harmful pessimism, must take charge of what is real and concrete that is within our reach and not pretend to delegate all responsibility upwards or to the sides. But also those who are entrusted with the mission of directing the The destinies of the Homeland must do so with great humility, with utmost honesty and with a true spirit of service and sacrifice, with a genuine interest in helping the most vulnerable and forgotten. Let us ask that God grant them the wisdom and strength for a good exercise of his power and authority, so that they do not allow themselves to be perverted by vices and parasites that make democracy sick and weaken. The Homeland we dream of needs us as people who are willing to build with the art of dialogue rather than with the fashion of division; to be artisans of peace before being agents of violence, to offer disinterested and generous service rather than seeking one’s own benefit or clinging to power at any price. The Lord knows our wounds, our confusion, our fears, our helplessness and our falls. From this place and next to his Mother he draws us to himself with his humility and meekness; not to shouting or from arrogance. Let us listen to her voice and, like Mary, let us keep it in her heart to be able to enjoy and savor the true Life that springs from communion with Him. Mary is the full, complete and fully realized woman because all grace overflows in Her; but as the offering Virgin Mother she radiates it and communicates to us that we are her children so that we may also reach Life in abundance that her Son Jesus came to bring and that today we cry out to our entire earth. Virgin of Huachana, we count on your love to rebuild the Homeland we dream of, keep hope burning and give us your courage so as not to falter in our march and not to lower our arms in our daily dedication. Amen”
