Homeworld 3 is postponed to 2023, just to finish the game correctly

Obviously, fans of the famous saga will have to wait a little longer: Homeworld 3 was shifted to premier semester 2023where the previous date was set for the end of 2022. Blackbird Interactive et Gearbox Publishing indicated that the development teams still had work to do, and that giving them more time would avoid a crunch useless.

The press release explains: To end Homeworld 3 in the highest possible quality is the highest priority for Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive, as we know what a special place this series holds in the hearts of gamers. The passion of our fans fuels our work and the additional time will allow us to honor our commitment to quality in a way that is healthy for those involved.« .

If many of us are waiting for this mythical Homeworld 3 for a long time, however, it is better for everyone that Blackbird takes the time to deliver a product to us truly ends.

It is true that our last preview of the game goes back over a year agowhere a very short sequence of gameplay had shown herself timidly; to console us, the Twitter account nevertheless indicated that we will see a lot more during the Gamescom, between August 24 and 28. We cross our fingers to have very heavy, especially since we will still be less than a year from the final release!
