Stefan Mross and Eva Luginger are currently vacationing on the MS Artania – the ship that was also featured in the ARD documentary series “Verkehrt nach Meer”. Will the pop star make another guest appearance?

Hamburg – Cruises are not without controversy, but they are still very popular – even on TV: On ZDF, not only does Florian Silbereisen (42) set sail as the fictional “dream ship” captain, but ship trips into the distance are also featured prominently on the first in the course. From 2010 to 2022, the holiday documentary series “Crazy for the Sea” was shown, in which pop star Stefan Mross (47) also made a guest appearance in 2019.

In the meantime, however, ARD has canceled “Crazy for the Sea” – following a whopping 500 episodes, 12 years and 24,520 minutes of broadcasting. However, the MS Amera and MS Artania continue to transport cruise fans through the seas. “Always on Sundays” presenter Stefan Mross also appreciates the service on board: At the end of September, the trumpeter reported several times via Instagram from the high seas, where he was enjoying lovely hours with his new love Eva Luginger (35).

The two pop stars appear to be taking part in the trip on behalf of a charitable foundation that supports children in developing countries. Stefan Mross already sailed across the ocean in 2019, but at the time alongside his wife Anna-Carina Woitschack (30), with whom he appeared in front of the camera for five “Crazy for the Sea” episodes (342-346). The pop star has now posted several photos with Morten Hansen, captain of the MS Artania and himself known from the ARD series.

The 47-year-old gave it the hashtag “#verrücknachmeer” – a circumstance that poses a mystery: the documentary series was actually officially discontinued in 2022. Is Stefan Mross hinting at a TV comeback for the show? This is not entirely out of the question: loyal viewers of the show were quite disappointed at the time that “Crazy for the Sea” had been quietly removed from the television program. Recently, a pop fan caused a much greater stir when he snatched the microphone out of Helene Fischer’s (39) hand at her Munich concert. Sources used: instagram.com/stefan.mross, ardmediathek.de
