They were arrested just following their misdeed, at the foot of the building where they had committed it. Four men were arrested this Sunday morning in flagrante delicto following stealing jewelry and luxury leather goods from the home of the director of the Chaumet jewelry house in Boulogne-Billancourt.
It was around 6 a.m. when the four criminals broke into the home of the director of the luxury brand (owned by the LVMH group, like Le Parisien). Inside, the robbers stole several items without waking the victim or their family, but they were immediately apprehended by police officers from the Boulogne-Billancourt police station and the Hauts-de-Seine anti-crime brigade as they left the apartment.
They were also in possession of an imitation handgun, a crowbar and Serflex bracelets. The police were following a lead when they arrived on scene, a few moments earlier, and found themselves face to face with the suspects.
The latter were immediately placed in police custody at the Boulogne-Billancourt police station. Two of them are minors, a third is a young adult. Three of them were already known to the police. According to the site Actu 17they come from Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-et-Marne and Essonne.
